0.25cupwalnuts, chopped (optional but recommended)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a 9x9-inch baking pan by greasing it lightly or lining it with parchment paper for easy removal.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the well-mashed bananas with the melted butter. Mix thoroughly until the banana and butter are fully incorporated.
Add the packed brown sugar to the banana-butter mixture. Stir vigorously until especially well mixed and smooth.
Crack in the egg and pour in the vanilla extract. Mix until the batter is uniform and smooth, ensuring no lumps remain.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and sea salt until well blended.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring gently with a spatula or wooden spoon. Be cautious not to overmix; stop once you see no dry flour.
Carefully fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts (if using), ensuring even distribution throughout the batter without overworking it.
Pour the luscious batter into the prepared baking pan, using a spatula to spread it evenly into the corners.
Bake in your preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. The blondies are done when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
Allow the blondies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. After that, carefully transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Once fully cooled, cut into 16 squares and savor the delightful flavors!
Notes
