3tablespoonsolive oil
1teaspoonground cinnamon
0.5teaspoonpaprika
0.5teaspoongarlic powder
to tastesalt and freshly ground black pepper
1tablespoonhoney (optional, for drizzling)
Instructions
Begin by preheating your oven to 425°F (220°C) to achieve that perfect crispiness.
In a large mixing bowl, toss the cut sweet potato strips with the olive oil. Make sure each piece is evenly coated in oil for optimal baking.
Sprinkle the ground cinnamon, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper over the oiled sweet potatoes. Use your hands or a large spoon to toss everything together thoroughly, ensuring that each fry is well-coated with the delicious spices.
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup. Spread the seasoned sweet potato fries out in a single layer on the baking sheet, making sure they have plenty of space between them.
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes. Halfway through the baking time, flip the fries using a spatula to ensure even cooking and browning.
Once baked, remove the fries from the oven. If you like an extra touch of sweetness, drizzle them with honey before serving.
Notes
Serve on a rustic platter and garnish with extra cinnamon or fresh herbs.
