1smallred onion, finely minced
1wholejalapeño pepper, deseeded and finely minced

0.25cupfresh cilantro leaves, roughly chopped
to tastesea salt and freshly cracked black pepper
0.5teaspoonground cumin (optional, but recommended)
as neededcrisp tortilla chips, for delightful dipping
Instructions
Start by cutting the avocados in half, discarding the pits. Scoop the creamy green flesh into a medium mixing bowl using a spoon.
With the back of a fork, gently mash the avocado until you reach your preferred level of creaminess, ensuring to leave some chunks for delightful texture.
To the mashed avocado, add the diced mango, finely minced red onion, and jalapeño, along with the fresh cilantro.
Drizzle the freshly squeezed lime juice evenly over the mixture to add a bright flavor.
Season generously with sea salt, freshly cracked black pepper, and the optional ground cumin for a unique twist.
Using a spatula, gently fold the ingredients together until they are well combined, but maintain a chunky texture.
Taste the guacamole and make adjustments as needed – a dash more lime juice or a sprinkle of salt can elevate the flavors beautifully.
Serve immediately with tortilla chips for dipping. If not serving right away, cover the surface of the guacamole with plastic wrap to minimize browning, pressing it directly onto the surface.
Notes
For an inviting presentation, serve in a vibrant bowl with fresh cilantro and lime wedges.
